A few things people usually ask first.
When do reminders send?+
SMS reminders are scheduled automatically for sensible business hours. If a customer email is provided, Brindle also sends an email reminder shortly after the SMS.
How often are reminders sent?+
Brindle sends up to 4 SMS reminders over a few weeks for an unpaid invoice. When a customer email is provided, an email reminder can also be sent shortly after each SMS. The reminders are spaced out intentionally to stay polite and effective.
Can I stop a reminder before it sends?+
Yes. You can mark an invoice as paid, pause reminders, or archive the invoice from the dashboard at any time.
Will customers know it came from me?+
The reminder message includes your business name, so customers know which invoice the reminder is about.
Do I need a credit card to try it?+
No. Your first automated invoice is free and includes up to 4 SMS reminders, so you can test it before subscribing.
What happens after my first free invoice?+
Your first invoice is free. A $19/month subscription is required to automate reminders for additional invoices and includes support for up to 100 active reminder invoices.
Does Brindle change anything in Xero?+
No. Your invoices remain in Xero. Brindle reads invoice information and payment status so it can automate reminders, but it does not modify your accounting records.
What happens when an invoice is paid?+
Brindle regularly checks payment status in Xero. When an invoice is marked as paid, any future reminders for that invoice are automatically stopped.
Do I need to import invoices every time?+
No. Once connected, Brindle can sync invoice information from Xero automatically. You choose which invoices should have reminders enabled.
Where is Brindle available?+
Brindle currently supports Australian businesses and Australian mobile numbers. Support for additional countries may be added in the future.
Is this a debt collection service?+
No. Brindle is a reminder automation tool. It helps you send polite invoice reminders, but you remain responsible for your customer relationships and invoice details.
